Information For Organisers
Check-in
On arrival, guests should report to the Porter’s Lodge where room keys will be issued. A noticeboard showing the title of your conference will usually be positioned outside the entrance to the Porter’s Lodge as a directive to delegates on where to check in.
Conferences expecting to arrive by coach are requested to notify the College well in advance of the arrival date in order that a specific key issue procedure may be arranged.
Check-out
Guests are required to vacate their rooms by 9.30 am on the day of departure. Rooms should be locked and the key returned to the Porter’s Lodge. A charge of £10 will be added to the conference account for failure to return the room key.
A room will be set aside for guests wishing to store their luggage after 9.30 am, at their own risk. Guests may gain access to this room by reporting to the Porter’s Lodge for the key.
Guests wishing to receive mail and/or faxes should use the address and fax number as follows:

Meals
Meals are usually taken in the Hall, which is located in Old Court. Breakfast is self-service from the Servery which is entered via the door on F staircase. Meals are usually available at the following times:
Breakfast: 8.15 am – 9.00 am
Lunch: 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm
Dinner: 7.30 pm
Any changes to the times stated above should be agreed with the Catering Manager prior to the start of the conference.
*Please note that breakfast is not served on a Sunday morning unless there are 30 or more delegates.
Medical Facilities
In-house medical facilities are not provided. In case of illness or emergency, please contact the Porter’s Lodge.
Parking
The College is able to offer a limited number of car parking spaces which should be booked with the Conference Co-ordinator prior to the start of the conference. Car parking spaces are allocated to guests on arrival by the Porter’s Lodge. Alternative car parking may be available in the Lion Yard public car park which is located in the centre of Cambridge, approximately 5 minutes walk from the College.
Room Service
All rooms are made up with bed linen, clean towels, soap and shower gel. A bed-making service and a clean towel are provided every day except weekends.
Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided, either in the room itself or in the nearby gyp room/kitchenette.
Security
The Porter’s Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. The College gates are normally locked each day at 10.00 pm. Guests are required to lock their rooms at all times. The College does not accept liability for the loss or damage to any personal property belonging to guests. Guests should obtain their own appropriate insurance cover.
