Information For Delegates & Visitors
Check-in
Please report to the Porter’s Lodge when you arrive, where your room key will be issued. A noticeboard showing the title of your conference will usually be positioned outside the entrance to the Porter’s Lodge directing you to check in.
Check-out
Please vacate your room by 9.30 am on the day of departure. Rooms should be locked and the key returned to the Porter’s Lodge. A charge of £10 will be added to the conference account for failure to return the room key.
A room will be set aside for guests wishing to store their luggage after 9.30 am, at their own risk. Please ask at the Porter’s Lodge for the key.

Meals
Meals are usually taken in the Hall, which is located in Old Court. Please refer to your individual conference programme for times of meals.
Medical Facilities
In-house medical facilities are not provided. In case of illness or emergency, please contact the Porter’s Lodge.
Parking
The College is able to offer a limited number of car parking spaces which should be booked with your conference organiser prior to the start of the conference. Alternative car parking may be available in the various Park and Ride sites around Cambridge, or in the Lion Yard public car park which is located in the centre of Cambridge, approximately 5 minutes walk from the College.
Room Service
All rooms are made up with bed linen, clean towels, soap and shower gel. A bed-making service and a clean towel are provided every day except weekends.
Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided, either in the room itself or in the nearby gyp room/kitchenette. Extra blankets, pillows and other housekeeping items may be requested from the Housekeeper via the Porter’s Lodge.
Security & Safety
The Porter’s Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. The College gates are normally locked each day at 10.00 pm. Please keep the door to your room locked whenever it is unoccupied. The College does not accept liability for loss of or damage to any personal property belonging to guests. Guests should obtain their own appropriate insurance cover.
Many of our historic rooms and buildings have low ceilings, uneven floors and narrow staircases. Extra care should be taken when negotiating such areas.
Taxis
Please enquire at the Porter’s Lodge where the Duty Porter will be happy to order taxis for guests.
